„Saturation, thickness, figurativity, flash in the darkness, visual memory, baroque tradition, knowledge of the present era, film-like effect, undecidable story, oil painting, human body, reality – key words that –as for me- are characteristic to my works. No matter if I paint a single figure, or a mass of people, or just an unpopulated scenery, I am always interested in suppressed human drama. Drama nevertheless is not necessarily an exceptional situation. For me the shadow of an ear can be a drama just the same as a tragic fall into an abyss.
