„In my meditative paintings the entangling and parting dynamics of organic forms give the picture momentum and rhythm. My works are also influenced by music and hydrodynamics. The aim is not the depiction of the actual, momentary reality, but to represent a personal reality merged with imagination. The abstraction of the vision and the melting of motives result in a lyrical abstraction, where the forming principles are the rhythm and balance of colours and forms.” (Katalin Benkő)
